We pride ourselves on our tutor’s knowledge and experience that they bring to the Academy. Having a wealth of world class experience they are able to share this and deliver our premium courses.

Gilbert Estrada is started his career working at MAC in LA and quickly progressed in his career and was sent to Hawaii to roll out MAC’s new flagship store. Gilly is an international artist working as the key make up artist for world class brands like Colour Pop, Sigma and many other well known brands. Gilbert now works as a Guest Tutor for The New York Make Up Academy sharing his vast experience with the students.

Ana Siguenza’s passion for makeup artistry started when I was 9 years old after discovering the book, The Art of Makeup by Kevin Aucoin. She began her career in the cosmetics industry in 2008 at MAC Cosmetics and she quickly grew to become a Flagship Store Manager in San Francisco, and also Artistry Trainer collectively for 11 years. In that time, she gained experience in working designer fashion shows for New York Fashion Week and San Francisco Fashion shows for designers like, The Row, Carolina Herrera, Noon by Noor, as well as worked on Jennifer Lopez’s, Michael Jackson’s Video Vanguard VMA 2018 Performance. Ana is currently working as a Sales & Artistry Executive training and managing sales for Anastasia Beverly Hills and building her editorial work in various online and print magazines. Ana is also employed by the Academy as our Head Educator and continues to build excellence in education and makeup techniques for New York Makeup Academy as well as work on a campaign shoots for the brand.

Chris Ruiz has an experience of over 7 years in the industry and has excelled in his career at an early age working for Mac and doing events like NYFW, Miss Universe and many famous celebrities. Kris recently did the Victoria Secrets Show and has taken part in high profile shoots such as Vogue, Cosmopolitan and Elle. Chris is currently working at the academy as one of our Educators.
